It is with a heavy but grateful heart after the passing of Glenn Turner we invite you to a tribute night on Wednesday 13th November at the Spinning Wheel in Paignton.
Glenn, without doubt, was one of the most talented guitarists you could have the privilege to come across. Being one of the original founding members of the legendary 70’s icons Wishbone Ash, Glenn then embarked on many decades playing with many bands including one of the best bands in the country Duke Johnson & The Scorchers. I had many years of being a roadie and working with Glenn. He had a great sense of humour and his musical ability was just astounding. All of us at What’s On extend our condolences to his son Jack and his family and friends.
On the 13th November we are celebrating Glenn’s life, at the Spinning Wheel in Paignton. Glenn’s brother Martin will be there and everyone that knew Glenn is welcome – musicians, friends and all will come together to celebrate his life. More details will be announced regarding the evening and we will give him the send of he deserves. We love & miss you Glenn. Rest in peace my friend.
It is going to be a legendary night of live music.
