Cursus Festival returns to Dorset on bank holiday weekend 26-28 May 2023 – another fantastic line-up

Local festival-goers are celebrating the return of the Cursus Cider & Music Festival to Dorset on the bank holiday weekend May 26 – 28 next year.

Now in its eighth year, Cursus is a small festival with a big reputation for original live music and more. Organisers recently announced the initial 2023 line-up and it has been widely received as the strongest one yet, boasting headliners Skinny Lister, The Longest Johns, Imperial Leisure and The Dreadnoughts, plus twenty other acts including Skimmity Hitchers, Sound Of The Sirens, Gaz Brookfield, Riskee & The Ridicule, Cosmic Ninja and Samantics.

Located on Myncen Farm (the home of Cranborne Chase Cider) in the beautiful surroundings of Cranborne Chase, Cursus offers a simple festival experience based around good people and good music. It is family friendly with a dedicated DIY Den activity area for kids, and live-in vehicles are welcome as well as tent campers. With a spacious camping area, late night camp fire and DJ tent, this is a festival to relax and make new friends as well as party.

Festival Organiser Kev Davis said; “We’re proud of our reputation as a down to earth, fun and inclusive event and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a
bank holiday to remember.”

Adult tickets from £89 with big discounts for children. Previous years have sold out in advance so early booking is recommended. Full information about the festival can be found at www.cursusfestival.com
