Wells Studio 24 announces an impressive line-up for Spring and Summer 2025 including The South, Pama International, The Christians, The Orb, Toploader and Fun Lovin Criminal Huey Morgan performing at the newest venue to be at in Somerset.
Studio 24 Wells is a new 500 capacity venue on two levels occupying the former Regal Cinema and most recently known as Kudos. Reopened in 2024 and is the newest music venue in Somerset with good road and bus access to Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare, Yeovil, Taunton and the many towns and villages of the county.
Way Out Live have been appointed to programme the live music at the venue and are local music industry professionals Neil O’Brien (agent and promoter), Aron Charles (Music programmer, The Godney Gathering) and musician Elliot O’Brien (The Jacques).

PAMA INTERNATIONAL – Saturday 22nd February 2025
Featuring a brand-new show of unique interpretations of Trojan Records iconic back catalogue plus original material from the bands first eight albums. Moreover, each customer attending the show will receive an exclusive and free collectors Trojan songbook!
THE ORB – Saturday 8th March 2025
Thirty five years since Alex Patterson lit the multi coloured torchpaper on The Orb’s interstellar space journey, he continues to swerve, becoming his own tribute act. The recently released Prism album and reunited with Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour on their Metallic Spheres album sees him pushing the boundaries even further. Special Guest is DJ Food (AKA Kevin Noakes).
TOPLOADER – Onka’s Big Moka 25th Anniversary plus support – Saturday 5th April 2025.
Toploader are undoubtedly one of the UK’s moist listened to bands with over a billion streams on all platforms.
Their debut album Onka’s Big Moka will be celebrated, featuring the hit single ‘ Dancing In The Moonlight’ amongst their other hits.
THE CHRISTIANS plus support Fraser Anderson – Saturday 12th April 2025.
Classic Liverpool band The Christians enjoyed huge acclaim in the 80’s and early 90’s for their hits Forgotten Town, Ideal World, Born Again, Harvest For The World and their number one Hillsborough charity single Ferry Across The Mersey. They are headed by lead singer Gary Christian, who still deserves the Daily Mirror who still deserves the description as having ‘One of the finest voices in pop’.
SYSTEM 7 – Friday 18th April 2025
Prepare to lift off with System 7’s Steve Hillage and Miquette Giaraudy where techno, ambient and trance meet blended with the added ingredient of Steve’s celebrated psychedelic techno guitar.
NUBIYAN TWIST plus support – Saturday 19th April 2025.
A blend of virtuosic players, skilled producers and inspired composers join forces to create a unique, infectious sound drawing on jazz, hip hop, afrobeat, dancehall, soul, reggae and dance music – expect ultra tight musicianship and a powerful big band sound.
THE SOUTH plus support – Friday 9th May 2025.
Since the demise of The Beautiful South in 2007, this exciting live band have spent 14 years touring bringing the sound and arrangements of treasured songs such as A Little Time, Perfect 10, Rotterdam, Song For Whoever, Old Red Eyes Is Back, Good As Gold to audiences throughout the UK.
HUEY MORGAN – THE FUN LOVIN CRIMINAL plus support – Wednesday 21st May 2025.
The King Of New York My Huey Morgan is back with his new band. Having sold over 10 million records the former Fun Lovin Criminal frontman will be performing a mixture of classic FLC songs as Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Scooby Snacks, King Of New York, Loco, Couldn’t Get It Right and with the promise of new music it promises to be a great night of funk, soul, hip hop and great memories!
