This annual event started in its present form in 1987 and has grown into one of the largest outdoor events in the South West!
It is organised, set up and run totally by volunteers who dedicate their time, for a large part of the year, to it and two of them have been there since day one!
We aim to bring history alive at the Torbay Steam Fair to preserve our heritage, which is more important than ever, and pass the knowledge on to the next generation. We have enhanced our children’s entertainment in recent years to attract younger families and it has become really popular.
The show includes Full Size Working & Scale Steam Traction Engines with Demonstrations, Vintage & Veteran Cars & Motorcycles, Commercial & Military Vehicles, Tractors & Stationary Engines.

Vintage Fairground, the largest in Brixham for many years, with some rides operated by Showman’s Steam Engines!
