WOODY COOK JOINS THE HOOSIERS AT TEST FEST
Super excited to announce that Woody Cook will be joining The Hoosiers on the big stage at Test Fest 2025! Some might have seen him recently DJ’ing with his Dad (Norman Cook AKA Fat Boy Slim) at All Back To Minehead or sitting on the Gogglebox Sofa with his Mum Zoe Ball. So this is the gig not to be missed.
Woody’s life experiences of being born into a very artistic family have given him a unique outlook on life. Always looking on the bright side and being the first to help other when he can, he believes that if you give a little love then it all comes back to you.
Woody joins The Hoosiers and many more for this unique music festival in Taunton
Test Fest is a music festival with a message – the only one of its kind in the UK and maybe the world! Most testicular cancer awareness campaigns focus on sport, colleges, universities and workplaces. However, stats reveal that young men are the largest group of attendees at music festivals, so why not focus on music to encourage awareness.
The Festival has recently been recognised in the UK Festival Awards, Stand Out Magazine and BISFF Film Awards and the charity was finalists in the Somerset Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
Charity founder and event organiser Sue Brand says:
2025 is It’s in the Bag’s 10th birthday as an independent charity and what a great way to celebrate with our huge line-up! There are a few more exciting bands and artists to come, so don’t miss out on tickets. This year more than any we encourage you to buy early.
The aim of the event is to encourage people to attend from all over the South West of England and do like at any other festival, watch bands, eat, drink, catch up with friends and have a good time. The team in the background talk about the importance of self-checking, sell merchandise with our messages on them and talk to attendees about what the charity does and how it helps. By the end of the day, there are many wearing our T-Shirts and bright orange pants on the outside.
Test Fest also has another purpose. Many survivors and their families attend and catch up with those who have had treatment, just diagnosed and still receiving treatment. This is like a mini Testicular Cancer family and seeing those great conversations tell us that we are doing the right thing.
Headliners are The Hoosiers, Woody Cook joined by Break Beat Bandits, the Jamestown Brothers, Whisky Embers, Sam Swancott, The Kahunas, Lewis Poole, Sepastian and Me and Rock Choir. Soon to be announced our band new Bandstand Stage, with DJ’s and brilliant artists and bands.
Our aims are to support men at diagnosis and during treatment, raise awareness to encourage early detection and celebrate the 96% survival rate from Penzance to Worcester.
This fun filled festival is definitely the place to be. Make it a weekend by camping for two nights. Early Bird Tickets on sale Now, but not for much longer!
