TK Maxx presents Southampton Summer Sessions – UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell.

This weekend’s TK Maxx presents Southampton Summer Sessions came to an end on Sunday 15^th June, with a night of reggae beats from Reggae Roast, Bitty McLean and fan favourite outfit UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell.

Highlights included:

• Reggae, Dancehall and Jungle sound system Reggae Roast opened the evening with laid back beats getting the crowd in the party mood.

• The summer vibes continued with singer Bitty McLean taking to the stage. Bitty’s dapper backing band led the crowd through his reggae repertoire, with Never Let Me Go, True True True and To Fall In Love all featuring.

• With the Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows having brought out fans in their droves, iconic reggae band UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell rounded off a raucous weekend, with the iconic ensemble performing hits Red Red Wine, Kingston Town and Bring Me Your Cup.

After three days of rock, soul and reggae, Southampton Summer Sessions will return next weekend (Saturday 21^st June) with chart topping superstar and the city’s own Craig David returning home, before pop rock band McFly take to Guildhall Square on Sunday (22^nd June).
