Locally cherished outdoor music venue The Wyldes in North Cornwall has announced this week that they will be returning to their roots this summer with a brand new event series titled Rewylding 2025.
In a bid to revive the grassroots music scene, The Wyldes have designed a series of intimate themed events for the summer which will cover a range of musical genres, as well as celebrating the summer season and the venue’s outstanding Cornish setting. The first event theme of the series is set to be revealed on Friday 21st March 2025.
The Rewylding summer series has been designed to champion new music and emerging talent (as well as bringing back some firm festival favourites) in an otherwise challenging live music climate. The 2025 events will each be themed, with live music centred around the venue’s original Second Stage, and a menu of food and drinks served from their main bar and kitchen will compliment the evening’s entertainment.
The Wyldes, near Bude, have said that Rewylding events will be intimate, with only 500 tickets available for each. This will be exciting news for longstanding fans of the venue, whose former independent festival Leopallooza was renowned for its homegrown and friendly atmosphere, having begun as the venue’s founding grassroots event in 2006.
In further good news for fans, tickets for these events will be on sale for just £20 per adult, making their Rewylding series the most affordable events to be offered at the venue in recent years. Camping pitches in the venue’s premium campsite will also be available at a reduced rate, giving attendees the option to make a weekend of the festivities. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly, and will be released to mailing list subscribers first.

The Wyldes’ usual Live in The Wyldes events, which see crowds in their thousands arrive through the gates each year, will see a fallow season in 2025 to allow the festival site to recover, and will return to offer larger scale concerts in 2026.
