TK Maxx presents Plymouth Summer Sessions roared into its second day on, Friday 13th June, with an explosive rock takeover on Plymouth Hoe. A genre-spanning lineup of Pendulum, Wargasm, Hot Milk and Normandie delivered a night of heavy riffs, soaring choruses and high-energy performances on the iconic waterfront stage.
Highlights included:

Swedish melodic rockers Normandie opened the day with a set full of emotional intensity and big guitar hooks – setting the tone for a powerful day of alternative rock.

Wargasm took things up a notch with their feral blend of punk, metal and rave, tearing through Plymouth Hoe with signature intensity.

Hot Milk kept the energy high, storming the stage with their infectious mix of emo, pop-punk and cathartic anthems, delivering a ferocious set.

Closing the rock-fuelled evening, Pendulum delivered a seismic headline performance, fusing drum & bass, rock and electronic energy. With tracks like “Witchcraft”, “Propane Nightmares” and “Watercolour”, they transformed Plymouth Hoe into a euphoric open-air rave.

Fans were treated to a surprise moment as Pendulum blew the cobwebs off fan favourite ‘Tarantula” – officially retired from their live set last year – for an epic finale that sent the crowd into overdrive.
