Jess Glynne announced as first Live in The Wyldes headliner for 2024
GRAMMY-winning pop icon Jess Glynne has just announced a new series of outdoor shows across the UK, including a debut performance at Cornish outdoor venue, The Wyldes. This is the first event of the 2024 season to be revealed at The Wyldes this year.
Jess Glynne will be performing live at The Wyldes in Cornwall on Saturday 29 June, 2024.
The news of her tour accompanies the release of her latest single ‘Friend of Mine’, marking a new, more personal era of music for Glynne. The brand new single follows her summer hit ‘What Do You Do?’, which was released alongside MK remix and acoustic versions. Her return to the music scene is set to bring more dance-pop bangers to audiences, who have been eagerly awaiting the news after her chart-topping success with two previous Platinum selling albums. A third album is on the horizon, with the promise of a fresh, vulnerable songwriting style to accompany her much-loved energetic sound.
In preparation for the upcoming album’s release, singer-songwriter Glynne says ‘It’s a pop record – I’m a pop girl. But there’s a lot of variety. The sound of the record is raw, honest, and vulnerable’.
Jess Glynne became the first British female solo artist to achieve seven number ones on the UK singles chart, including ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Hold My Hand’ and ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’. She has earned a whopping nine Brit Award nominations, three Ivor Novello nominations and has won a GRAMMY Award for her music.
On the announcement of the 2024 tour, Jess said: “Can’t wait to get back on stage and go live for all my people! It’s gonna be a good year… Let’s go.”
