Throughout 2023, we celebrate our 50th Anniversary with an extra special chess-based Afternoon Tea.
Known for our quirky and free visitor attraction, awe-inspiring glassworks, delicious food, decidedly different shop – and most of all, our marbles! – we have created this one-of-a-kind Afternoon Tea.
Many visitors won’t know that the business has been making and distributing toys and games worldwide for over 50 years (yes, the visitor site came later) and now commemorates this remarkable landmark with a nod to the toy industry and our own range. Highlighting our fabulous history and new 50th Anniversary range of products in celebratory packaging, we couldn’t be more pleased to bring this incredible collection of sweet and savoury treats to our Old Pottery Restaurant Menu!
The Afternoon Tea offers a delightful array of cakes, scones and savoury delights along with tea or coffee for two people, with the opportunity to raise a glass of bubbly to mark the occasion in style, all beautifully presented on a House of Marbles Chess board. With drawers utilised to create a tiered cake stand like no other, this Afternoon Tea experience is a one-of-a-kind not-to-be-missed opportunity to sample all the best our business has to offer.
Afternoon Tea for two is just £22.50 each, with the option to add bubbly for an extra £8.50 per person.
