Best known as the runner-up on the very first series of Pop Idol, Gareth Gates became one of the UK’s biggest pop stars of the early 2000s. His debut single Unchained Melody went straight to number one, followed by a string of chart-topping hits including Anyone of Us (Stupid Mistake) and Spirit in the Sky. With millions of records sold worldwide, a West End career spanning Les Misérables, Legally Blonde and Footloose, and years of experience performing to sold-out crowds, Gareth remains one of the most recognisable and loved voices of his generation.
In Boyband in the Buff, Gareth teams up with a cast of ripped, ridiculously talented performers for a high-energy, tongue-in-cheek celebration of the golden age of boybands. Featuring massive hits from the likes of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Blue, Westlife and Take That, the show combines flawless harmonies, slick choreography and a playful sense of humour.
