Bristol Sounds has firmly established itself as a highlight of the UK’s summer music scene, celebrated for its range of genres and unbeatable Harbourside location. Returning once more over what would be Glastonbury weekend, 2026 is set to steal the limelight, delivering unmissable nights of live music in the heart of the city next June.
The concert series is the perfect gift for gig go-ers and live music lovers, with day tickets to see performances from The Kooks, Super Furry Animals, The Streets and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark with more to be announced.
TUESDAY 23 JUNE: THE KOOKS
Opening the festival with a night of pure indie nostalgia is The Kooks, celebrating 20 years of their debut album, Inside In/Inside Out! Featuring hits like Naive, She Moves In Her Own Way and You Don’t Love Me, the LP sold more than 2 million copies and catapulted the band to fame in the Noughties.
WEDNESDAY 24 JUNE: SUPER FURRY ANIMALS
The announcement of Super Furry Animals’ first live dates in a decade led to over 30,000 tickets selling out within hours. Fans of the off beat Welsh legends have another chance to catch their return as they are announced to headline Bristol Sounds, under an hour by train from the band’s home city of Cardiff . Special guests have been announced with Bristol disco rock duo, Getdown Services and Welsh/Cornish art-pop singer-songwriter, Gwenno joining the line up.
THURSDAY 25 JUNE & SATURDAY 27 JUNE: THE STREETS
The Streets return to the city to headline two sold out nights, performing their game-changing 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come For Free in full, for the first time ever. The huge demand reflects the cultural legacy of A Grand Don’t Come For Free, a generation-defining album packed with anthems like Dry Your Eyes, Fit But You Know It and Blinded by the Lights.
FRIDAY 26 JUNE: ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark will be bringing a hit-stacked, high-energy synth-pop masterclass to the Amphitheatre. With over 40 million records sold worldwide, OMD helped shape the sound of the 80s through albums like Organisation, Architecture & Morality and Dazzle Ships, with singles including Enola Gay, Souvenir and US breakthrough If You Leave.
