Bristol’s signature summer series of outdoor gigs, Bristol Sounds, will return to the iconic harbourside from Wednesday 25 June to Sunday 29 June 2025, bringing five nights of world-class live performances to the city. Supergrass, Kaiser Chiefs, Texas, The Fratellis, and Olly Murs are set to headline 2025.
WEDNESDAY 25TH JUNE: SUPERGRASS
Opening the festival will be indie rock legends Supergrass as part of their 30th anniversary reunion tour where they will be playing their debut album ‘I Should Coco’ in full. Bursting onto the scene in the mid-90s and channeling the iconic energy of the 90s, Supergrass shot to fame with anthems like ‘Alright’ and ‘Caught by the Fuzz’. Three decades on, their live shows are as cool as ever and fans can expect an unforgettable set from a band who helped define an era.
THURSDAY 26TH JUNE: KAISER CHIEFS
Oh my God I can’t believe it… Kaiser Chiefs will also bring a night of indie magic to the festival with their smash hit bangers like ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Ruby’. This will be the first time the band has played the Bristol’s Amphitheatre in 10 years – having last performed at the landmark in 2015. Their Bristol Sounds performance will be an absolute crowd-pleaser, filled with the hits that have made them one of the UK’s most loved bands.
FRIDAY 27TH JUNE: TEXAS
Legendary Scottish band, Texas, are bringing their five-decade-spanning hits to Bristol Harbourside. Celebrated around the world for anthems like ‘I Don’t Want A Lover’, ‘Say What You Want’ and ‘Inner Smile’, Texas’ performance promises to be an unforgettable evening of world-class live music.
SATURDAY 28TH JUNE: THE FRATELLIS
‘Chelsea Dagger’ and ‘Whistle for the Choir’ hitmakers The Fratellis are set to bring their crowd favourites to Canons Marsh Amphitheatre alongside 90s icons Cast (Walkaway, Alright), Britpop favourites Sleeper, the genre-bending Stereo MCs, and Welsh rap legends Goldie Lookin’ Chain (Connected). Saturday’s Bristol Sounds will kick off earlier than the other days, providing an extended afternoon-to-evening experience packed with incredible live performances. Junior and group tickets deals are available for this all day event.
SUNDAY 29TH JUNE: OLLY MURS
Having risen to fame on The X Factor, Olly Murs has since become one of the UK’s most successful male solo artists, with multiple platinum albums and unforgettable singles like ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ and ‘Troublemaker’. Born to perform and be on stage, Olly Murs’ set promises a lively evening of feel-good anthems and vibes that will have crowds skip, skip, skipping to the beat.
More supports are to be announced, promising a diverse lineup that everyone can get stuck into. A music event like no other, Bristol Sounds organisers always curate a music series with the fans at the forefront.
