About The Band:

AQUILLA are a dynamic rock band held in the highest regard by their peers. Made up of 5 former professional musicians (who all hail from Devon) they perform both unique rock covers and original material with a powerhouse live concert style sound.

Influenced by the big AOR bands of the late 70’s (including Kansas, Boston and Toto) the band also draw their live sound from the likes of Wishbone Ash, Paul Rodgers and Gary Moore.

They are known to many fellow musicians and gig goers for their sumptuous vocal harmonies and powerful twin guitars. Each of the band members have toured the UK and Europe at various times during their respective careers.

In September 2023 the guys (to high acclaim) supported the legendary Wishbone Ash at the Exeter Phoenix, and they returned there in June 2024 as special guests to funk rock icons The Blockheads.
