1996- 2024 – 28years and beyond
The man with de Caribbean Voice. He sings de songs of de Caribbean taking you on a long journey to his islands. Songs from de last 28 years, as a performer, then 9CD’s later, which includes his forthcoming CD, “The DILIGAF CD” Take it or leave it”
He began his career back in Antigua working on a 192ft schooner “The Yankee Clipper” as a 17 year old steward catering for the Yanky passengers from Antigua down to Trinidad. Little did he know that he would one day grace many stages as a “performance poet and de maestro of Calypso, Soca, Reggae and Ska especially in the southwest where he has lived for 21+ years.”
Amongst his vast repertoire of very famous songs from many genres turned into reggae – ska -calypso -Boca, he still throws in a few of his self written award winning poems, such as “”The Nutter from Chester, No Better, Tribute to my Parents, then he takes you back to his islands to the old traditional songs made famous by the likes of Harry Belafonte, Robert Nester Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Ken Boothe, but with his personal stories, and anecdotes, of his childhood in Antigua, and the 50+ years in the UK. His 5 years as a RAF serviceman, and how, that period of time has transformed his life to what it is today.

On January 28th 2024 at 8 pm, I will be celebrating 28 years as ANTIGUA JOE at Lucianos in Dorchester, and then on the 10th February I will be at the Harbour Inn, Paignton where I have 8 gigs this year. You can find all of my date on my website which are constantly being updated.
I have had a dam good time over the last 22 years in Devon, and the southwest, and Ioove performing there. Although I live in Dorset now, it is still a wonderful feeling when I meet old fans, and they still give a reason to say “Anyting to do, with havin’, a dam good time”
