You can also enjoy one of the many boat trips around the coast.
There are plenty of buses you can hop on to go off and explore for the day or take a ride on a steam train.
When the weather is not so good you can head indoors to enjoy Swimming or Bowling, catch a film at the cinema or even one of the fantastic theatre shows.
One of the best things about the Southwest is that there are lots of free things to keep the family entertained. Of course, there are the beautiful beaches where you can build sandcastles or explore rock pools, but also some lovely towns and villages for you to wonder around. You can explore the harboursides or ramble across the Moors. There are many parks and play areas and another favourite is to do some crabbing! Keep your eye out for free festivals and events which can also keep you entertained and be fun for everyone.
