Two week countdown begins as Taunton’s longest running music festival returns
Test Fest, Taunton’s longest running music festival, returns on Saturday 20 June with a full day of live music, family entertainment and community spirit at Summerfield Stadium. Now in its 9th year, the festival continues to champion grassroots South West bands and artists, while raising vital awareness for It’s in the Bag, the region’s testicular cancer charity.
This year’s line up features 18 acts from across the South West, celebrating the strength and diversity of the local music scene. The festival will once again be hosted by long standing Patron Downsy, who brings his trademark energy as compère, alongside fellow Patron and family favourite Nutty Noah, delivering his unique brand of comedy and chaos for all ages.
Families remain at the heart of Test Fest, with children aged 12 and under going free, and camping available for those who want the full weekend experience.
Test Fest is proudly supported by sponsors ebida, Sheppy’s Cider, Out of Hand, and DBD Security, whose backing helps keep the festival accessible, safe and community driven.
“Test Fest isn’t just a festival, it’s a movement,” said organisers from It’s in the Bag. “Every ticket sold helps us reach more men across the South West with life saving testicular cancer awareness. We’re proud to be Taunton’s longest running festival and to keep grassroots music at the centre of what we do.”
This year also sees a new partnership with Hallosfest, Taunton’s Halloween CIC, who will join the festival with apple bobbing, pants bunting and spooky fun as part of a cross promotion between the two community events.
Test Fest takes place on Saturday 20 June at Summerfield Stadium, Taunton.
