Nigel Havers Joins Ben Miller for a Special Celebration of
Agatha Christie
at Babbacombe Theatre on Friday 16th October 7.30pm
One of Britain’s best-loved actors, Nigel Havers, will join bestselling author and actor Ben Miller and internationally acclaimed crime writer Lucy Foley for a very special evening celebrating the life and legacy of Agatha Christie at Babbacombe Theatre, Torquay, on Friday 16th October.
Presented as Between The Covers Live! – Celebrating Agatha Christie, this unique event marks 50 years since the death of the Queen of Crime, bringing together an entertaining panel for an evening of fascinating conversation, literary insight and behind-the-scenes stories inspired by the world’s bestselling novelist.
With Torquay proudly recognised as the birthplace of Agatha Christie, this promises to be a particularly fitting occasion for local audiences. The event explores Christie’s remarkable life, from her extraordinary literary success and unforgettable characters such as Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, to the real-life mysteries and adventures that made her story almost as captivating as the novels she wrote.
Joining Ben Miller and Lucy Foley on stage, Nigel Havers will share his own memories of discovering Christie’s novels and adaptations, along with his favourite stories from her incredible catalogue.
