Will Butterworth grew up in Devon Playing classical music on the cello and improvising on the piano. This piano trio is about interaction and swing. Playing some of the wonderful tunes of the great American song book with a huge sense of adventure.

The Blue Vanguard is a monthly jazz club dedicated to bringing the finest national and international guests to our home town of Exeter. The Club has run successfully since September 2011 and has a loyal following.

Toe-tapping rhythms and soaring melodies combine in a virtuoso performance of gypsy favourites, jazz standards, soulful ballads and Latin swing, all played with the verve and joy that is the heart of this music.
Exeter Drama Company presents Edifice and Artifice

A new play by Claire Temple, Edifice and Artifice is a satire on the wealth gap today. It takes place in the London headquarters of fictional oil company Starco, and the protest camp laying siege outside. As London floods and the government factionalises, it’s only a matter of time before the haves and have-nots collide.

The Orchard Café Quartet’s music is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary string quartet music. The programme includes music from: The Lord of the Rings, Howl’s Moving Castle and Gladiator. Listeners will also be taken on a journey through Denmark, Norway and Sweden through contemporary folk music arrangements.

Written and performed by Mark Carey, this spooky thriller is set in the same theatre dressing room, during the same play, at the same theatre, but 60 years apart. During both time periods the theatre is hosting a performance of Hamlet where ‘time is out of joint’. What is the unearthly link between the two productions? How can the same things be happening to different people 60 years apart? Why are the actors fascinated by the old dressing room mirror? Just don’t look into it you might not like what you see!
