Christmas is our favourite time of year at House of Marbles!
Santa eagerly awaits children in his Grotto, while our talented Chefs at The Old Pottery Restaurant diligently prepare a sumptuous Christmas feast.
The Emporium is brimming with unique gifts and toys, and the glassmakers from Teign Valley Glass Studio are getting their gallery and hot shop ready for the festivities, where you can even try your hand at glassblowing! Meanwhile, the rest of our team is gearing up to extend a warm welcome to you.

Christmas Dinner Parties at House of Marbles
This Christmas, why not celebrate a Christmas Lunch or Dinner at House of Marbles. Any group size can be accommodated, from gatherings of families or friends to local interest groups and even Corporate Christmas Parties for the workplace. Late Night Shopping at House of Marbles
Late-Night Shopping returns at House of Marbles this Christmas, every Thursday evening from the 30th November until the big day. Enjoy a relaxed environment where you can shop stress-free and get your purchases gift-wrapped for a stress-free Christmas Season. Food and drink tastings will give a flavour of some of the delicious items available to buy in store and why not stay for a delicious Christmas Dinner in The Pottery By Night Restaurant while visiting (booking advised)? There will be extra festive spirit to be had with Wreath-Making and Bauble-Making classes taking place while you browse. Every Thursday from 5pm, 30th November onwards.
Wreath-making classes at House of Marbles
Wreath-making returns at House of Marbles for a 3rd year! New for 2023, participants will be able to decorate their Wreaths with dried floral accents in a variety of exciting colours! Christmas is a time for crafting and spending time with loved ones so why not make a night of it why booking with friends?! Each attendee will receive a glass of Prosecco or buck/fizz and a £10 voucher for use in the evening restaurant (minimum £25 spend applies).
Sessions run on every Thursday Evening from 30th November, from 5pm and 7.30pm, during Late-Night Shopping Evenings. Now an established event, booking in advance is highly recommended to avoid missing out.
Santa’s Grotto at House of Marbles
Step into the enchanting world of Santa’s Grotto at House of Marbles, where cherished holiday memories come to life. Santa and his Elves await, offering an exclusive opportunity for every ticket holder to meet Father Christmas himself.
Share your deepest Christmas wishes, and each child will receive a festive goody bag filled with holiday treasures. Santa’s visits extend from 25th November through 22nd December, ensuring everyone can experience the magic. Secure your spot, or opt for special sessions for larger groups and personalised attention.

Santa Paws at House of Marbles
Santa Paws returns for 2023!
Santa Paws makes this Christmas unforgettable for your whole family, including your beloved pets! Join us on a whimsical journey through our enchanting winter wonderland, where your four-legged companions can meet Santa himself, tails wagging in excitement. Capture the joy with a paw-some photo, shining brighter than Rudolph’s nose.
Our cosy grotto is open for two days this November – Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We recommend groups of up to six for a magical experience.
Bauble-Making at House of Marbles
Join our expert Glassmakers in the Teign Valley Glass Studio at House of Marbles for our Make Your Own Glass Bauble workshop. During the session, you will learn all about the techniques and processes and watch a demonstration by our team of how we make baubles in the studio. Next, you will receive one to one support in making your very own, completely unique festive glass bauble, including heating glass in the furnace, colouring the glass and blowing the glass into the bauble shape.
Once you have finished making your Bauble, you will leave it with us to cool down slowly in the kiln. Baubles will be ready for collection three days after the workshop.
